Electronic edition
The Swiss Book is available online in a dynamic version in the National Library’s Helveticat catalogue.
The Swiss Book is the national bibliography of Switzerland published by the Swiss National Library. It lists the country’s entire output of information media: books, maps, music scores, electronic media and multimedia, periodicals, newspapers, annual publications and series. However, Swiss sound recordings are catalogued and collected by the Swiss National Sound Archives in Lugano.
A publication is listed in The Swiss Book if:
Publications whose content is the work of Swiss translators, editors or contributors or authors living in Switzerland are collected by the Swiss National Library but not included in The Swiss Book.

As of 2007, the static PDF version of The Swiss Book has replaced the printed edition. A total of 24 issues are published each year, with no. 16 containing the annual production of sheet music.
