Swiss Press Photo 25

What were the defining moments of 2024? Swiss Press Photo 25 is presenting the best Swiss photojournalism at the Swiss National Library in Bern from 3 July to 10 October 2025. A poignant look back at an eventful year.

A visual memory of 2024

The exhibition Swiss Press Photo 25 showcases the prizewinning images from the competition of the same name – in partnership with the Fondation Reinhardt von Graffenried. Six categories (News, Daily Life, Swiss Stories, People, Sports, World) offer multifaceted perspectives on world events. 

Photographer of the year

Anne Morgenstern was recognised for her series Swifties, dedicated to fans of the US singer Taylor Swift. Her photos are featured in the exhibition. 

Memorable moments

Some of the highlights include the Summit on Peace in Ukraine on the Bürgenstock, the floods in the Maggia Valley and Zurich’s Street Parade. The exhibition also features some everyday scenes, such as the return of the sun in Lötschental and the Swiss Dog Show in Lucerne.

People, sports, world

The exhibition features portraits of Anna Rosenwasser and Noémi Speiser, photos of the Olympic Games in Paris and reports on Yemen, Ukraine and Argentina.
