An introduction to using the Swiss National Library (NL)
Would you like to find out about all the things you can discover at the NL? Please contact us if you would like to learn about our collection, the various research options and the services we offer. We would be happy to provide an overview and help you with specific questions.
To use our collections, you need to register. You can do so in advance via our user registration form. When you visit, let us know what subject you're interested in and what you're looking for. If you let us know what you need before you visit, we can help you find it even faster and more efficiently.
For groups of five or more: please arrange an appointment in advance as this makes it easier for us to plan.

User registration
In order for us to activate your user account, we need images of a valid passport or identity card and of the BibliOpass (if available), in addition to the information in the form below (mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk). Please send them to einschreibung@nb.admin.ch.
