One-month closure due to the move:
From 30 October at 6.00 pm until 29 November 2026 inclusive.
Reopening on 30 November at 9.00 am at the new address: Monbijoustrasse 74, 3003 Bern.

Thursday, December 24, from 1 p.m. until Friday, December 25, 2026 (inclusive)
The reading rooms of the Swiss Literary Archives and the Prints and Drawings Department will be closed from 24 December 2026 to 3 January 2027.
New Year:
Thursday, 31 December 2026 from 1 p.m. until Friday, 1 January 2027 (inclusive)
The reading room will be closed on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 due to an event.
