The cover of the first annual report of the “Schweizerische Landesbibliothek”, now known as the Swiss National Library, for its foundation year of 1895 is purely typographic.

The annual report of the Swiss National Library (formerly known as the “Schweizerische Landesbibliothek”) first appeared in 1895, the year in which the institution was founded. Until 2005 it was published in German and French. Since 2006 there have also been English and Italian editions.
