The Swiss National Library (NL) also collects, archives, catalogues, preserves and provides access to born-digital publications. These are collectively known as “e-Helvetica”, from the term “Helvetica” meaning documents related to Switzerland.
The e-Helvetica collection consists of six components:
- Digital commercial publications
- Digital official publications
- Digital standards
- Digital university publications (e-Diss.ch)
- Websites (Web Archive Switzerland)
- Wikipedia articles
The long-term archive is based on the Open Archival Information System (OAIS).
