Specialising in Swiss publications and authors, the Swiss National Library (NL) contains a vast, unique store of information all about Switzerland. And the people working there are qualified information specialists who know how to find the answer to just about any question concerning Switzerland. A partnership with various Swiss libraries makes it possible to widen the resources suggested through a virtual reference desk about Switzerland. The NL also co-operates with the Deutsche Internetbibliothek, and with Si@de (Services d'information à la demande), a virtual reference network for French-speaking countries launched by the National Library of France.
In order to help you in your searches we have put together a list of relevant links about Switzerland. Links are gathered by sub-topics and are described with a brief commentary. In the A-Z index, you can search by keyword or by name: this will take you directly to the topic you are looking for.
Are you unsure of where to begin your search, or what office deals with your particular question? Are you unable to obtain an answer to your question via SwissInfoDesk? Then, the Information Retrieval Service of the Swiss National Library will gladly provide information.
We also provide a alert service : you will be regularly informed of the up-dated publications relating to your field. In order to do so, we need to set up your search profile.
